Unless you have been living in a cave in the Himalayas, you know who Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor is and the rivalry their bad blood entails. We were blessed to have been given the opportunity to feature Stockton’s own Nate Diaz in our issue 9 and it was eerily predictive. Nate almost knew he was destined to throw hands with the Notorious one in the future and well,..we all know what happened from there. Nate battered and submitted the UFC’s golden boy in the 2nd round and by popular opinion, “We weren’t surprised motherf*ckers!” That said, UFC 202 was hands down the most exciting fight I have ever seen in my life. Two warriors leaving it all on the line both battered and bruised. Conor eeked out the win by decision and the consensus is that the fight could have gone either way. That said, what do Leonardo DiCaprio and Nate Diaz have in common? They both give zero f*cks about vaping during massive events. During the post-fight conference, Nate starting vaping on a pen during his media Q&A.
“It’s CBD,” Diaz said. “It helps with the healing process and inflammation and things like that, so you want to get these for before or after the fights, in training. It’ll make your life a better place.”
For anybody that knows, CBD is non-psychoactive (meaning no head change) and the key compound in healing children with Epilepsy like 2-year old Charlotte Figi and other debilitating diseases. Nate clearly, was Vaping CBD post-fight because; well,…I’m certain that the anti-inflammatory properties 0f CBD are helpful and healing for Nate. See below for Nate’s explanation when asked by a reporter.
Once again, Nate Diaz changed the game by putting CBD in the media spotlight and we give props for Nate always Representing and keeping it 100 Like I’ve been saying for years, CBD is the future. CBD is not weed. So, like Nate’s been saying, “Don’t be scared homie.”
